Privacy policy

What we collect

• Your account — name and email address, so you can sign in and we can send your monthly check-in.
• What you tell us about your business — your website address, platform, services, location, social profile links, review counts and similar details you type into the setup and monthly check-in.
• Your visibility results — the checks we run on your public website, your scores over time and which fixes you have completed.
• Payment records — your purchase and subscription status, sent to us by SamCart. We never see or store your card details.
• Usage information — standard analytics and advertising measurement (Meta Pixel, Hotjar and Hyros) so we can see how the site is used and improve it.

Google account data

If you choose to connect your Google account, Bloom requests read-only access to Google Search Console and your email address. We use this only to show you your own search performance — clicks, impressions and keyword positions — inside your dashboard.

• We never write to, change or delete anything in your Google account.
• We never sell, rent or share Google user data with anyone.
• We never use Google user data for advertising, or to train artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
• We store only the search statistics needed to show month-to-month changes, plus an encrypted token so you do not have to reconnect each visit.
• You can disconnect at any time from your dashboard, or at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Disconnecting deletes the stored token, and we delete the stored statistics within 30 days.

Bloom's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

How we use your information

• To run your visibility checks and build your personalised fix plan.
• To show your dashboard, progress and monthly comparisons.
• To answer your questions through the in-app AI coach and by email.
• To send your monthly check-in reminder and important account emails.
• To manage your subscription and support requests.

We do not sell your personal information, ever.

Who we share it with

Only the services needed to run Bloom: our hosting and database provider, our email sender, our payment provider (SamCart), and the AI providers that power the coach. Each receives only what it needs, and none may use your data for their own purposes.

Security and retention

Your data is stored encrypted, access is restricted, and each account can only read its own records. We keep your information for as long as your account is active. Close your account and we delete your business data within 30 days, apart from the billing records we are required to keep.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing hello@petalandbloomtechmarketing.com. Bloom is not intended for children under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will update the date at the top and let you know by email. See also our terms of service.
